Travel to St Lucia

Honest resort reviews, base by base.

Affiliate disclosure

Travel to St Lucia is affiliate-supported. This page explains exactly how, so you know what a link earns and can decide whether to trust our ranking.

Sandals Affiliates

We participate in the Sandals Affiliates program. When you click a Sandals link on this site and complete a booking within the 60-day cookie window, we earn a 4% CPA on the gross package price. That works out to about $200 to $800 per booking on a typical $5,000 to $20,000 Sandals St Lucia stay. Sandals does not review or approve our content. We name which of the three Sandals St Lucia properties (Grande St Lucian, Halcyon Beach, Regency La Toc) suits which traveller, and we say plainly when Sandals is not the right fit (Piton-view honeymoons, foodie trips, Soufrière base).

Booking.com Partner Program

Booking.com widgets on region hubs, resort reviews and resort-type roundups. We earn 25% to 40% of Booking’s commission, which is about 4% to 10% of the stay value. No cost to you.

Hotels.com and Expedia via EGAP

Secondary comparison widgets on named-resort reviews. 3% to 6% CPA. Used as a rate-comparison second opinion for Booking.com bookings.

GetYourGuide + Viator

Activity affiliates on our activity guides and Piton / Sulphur Springs / catamaran / rum distillery content. 8% CPA on booked tours.

Direct resort affiliates

Where a resort runs its own affiliate program at a higher CPA than Booking.com (Jade Mountain / Anse Chastanet, Ladera, Cap Maison, BodyHoliday), we participate directly. 5% to 10% CPA. This is the reason we sometimes recommend booking direct rather than via Booking.com.

What we do not do

  • No paid rankings. A resort cannot pay to be higher on a roundup.
  • No sponsored posts in year one.
  • No display advertising.
  • No affiliate link on the homepage, About page, or this disclosure page itself.
