Travel to St. Lucia and Enjoy the Atlantic Rally For Cruisers Competition!

There is nothing like seeing the world from the water. The Atlantic Rally for Cruisers (ARC) is a competition that allows yachting enthusiasts to do just that. The ARC is the world’s largest trans-ocean sailing event. The World Cruising Club organizes the ARC each year. Over 1,500 people from around the world participate in the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers every year. Perhaps the greatest appeal of the ARC is the fact that so many people come together to see the world and make new friends along the way. The ARC sailing event begins in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria however, the best part of all is that the final destination of the competition is St. Lucia’s very own Rodney Bay!

Everyone from families to world travelers to retirees participate in the ARC each year. The World Cruisers Club does a great job of grouping teams with similar lifestyles together. For example, family teams are grouped together to accommodate school times and to help organizing activities for the children easier.
